Samra Mayanja

Samra Mayanja is a London based artist-writer. Her work is concerned with the voice, the spoken and the unspeakable. Mayanja’s work is a translations between writing, pedagogy and performance. Her practice is heavily supported by the instability of these translations and how the limits of each medium give life to the next.She has exhibited and performed at the Tetley (Leeds), South London Gallery, MAMA (Rotterdam), Kampnagel (Hamburg), Somerset House, Live Biennale, Eastside Projects (Birmingham) and lectured at Glasgow School of Art, Museum of London, University of Leeds, Leeds Arts University and UP Projects (London).
Haseebah Ali

Haseebah Ali is a socially engaged artist and arts educator based in Birmingham. Her work weaves in storytelling through a visual language and incorporates themes of her own Kashmiri culture as well as topics that she feels need to be discussed more.Taking inspiration from South Asian textile, pattern and community, Hassebah uses this imagery as a way to connect herself and others to her Pakistani Kashmiri roots.
