Ash Kouchak is an award-winning Writer/Director of Iranian descent based in the heart of West London. In 2019, he directed his first short film, ‘Midnight Run,’ which screened at several festivals and came 1st at Pinewood’s Liftoff Filmmaker’s Festival. After his success, he made his second short film, ‘Have Heart,’ in 2021, which has drawn worldwide attention for its quirky take on the struggles of mental and social pressures while pursuing your dreams. Ash studied filmmaking at the NFTS to seek knowledge and has continued his journey as a self-taught filmmaker working on various film projects. His passion for film and cinema is matched only by his tenacity to push the boundaries of art and perspective.
